Matched primary cell lines
Primary cells from which our immortalised cell lines are derived. Use to conduct comparative functional and genomic analyses to gain deeper insight into your cell line for development and regulatory submission purposes.
Immortalisation of cell line drives changes in the starting primary cell material. This is the point of immortalisation - to create a change in cell state to drive desired function (e.g. continued proliferation for use in bioproduction). However, for your technical, product and regulatory development, sometimes you need insight into how your immortalised cell line differs from the cells used to derive it.
Enter matched primary cell line. These cells are from the same primary cell banks we made when developed each of our immortalised cell lines. Whether you want to do a full genome comparision to screen for off-target genetic modifications, explore how cell line phenotype or performance changes post immortalisation or want a control to use in your R&D. Our matched primary cells are for you. Reach out to learn more.
